Cyber taster day

Calling Year 13 groups with an keen interest in cyber security and computing!

We are keen to offer cyber taster days which, in the past, have included a practical session on ‘steganography’ – hiding messages in plain sight!

We have recently unveiled our brand new cyber security laboratories at the University of Gloucestershire. Our new computing facilities feature high quality teaching, research and development laboratories with a modern range of computers and games technology, cyber security testing equipment and a swish super computer that will provide a capacity for big data analytics and fast 3D rendering.

Let us show off all our new facilities and give students a real taste of studying a computing course at university level.

How do I book?

Teachers can book groups of students onto the day by requesting a booking form from the outreach team. Alternatively, if individual students wished to attend unaccompanied by their teacher then they would need to get permission from the school and email outreach@glos.ac.uk

If you can’t make the dates mentioned above, please contact the Outreach team and we will see look into what we can offer.
